Prior Research

Predecessor Rain Events
Mentee to Dr. Lance F. Bosart, University at Albany
As part the Science Research Program at my high school, I was tasked with reaching out to scientists in my field of choice for research opportunities. Over three academic years and two summers, I conducted research on predecessor rain events ahead of tropical cyclones, which are mesoscale areas of precipitation enhanced by moisture from a tropical cyclone. I presented my research at local, regional, and international competitions, earning several awards and honors.
